Not taking my tom tom with me when I drove to Amsterdam was the worst idea ever.  All the place names looks like someones fallen asleep on the keyboard.  I literally didn't have a clue where I was going, was fuelled with red bull and had no battery on my phone.  Made it home though didn't a (somehow, still don't know how).

UPDATE: Also got a speeding ticket.
